Bar La Estacion

We had a pork loin sandwich with peppers, cheese, and tomato, and a big slice of toast with cheese for breakfast. Fantastic, homemade, and very friendly. We went into Bailén to go to El Vivero restaurant, but it was closed. We sat on the Felipe Neve terrace at La Estación bar. A GREAT FIND!

Just passing through. A combination plate with eggs and fries, a flamenquín (breaded and fried pork roll), and a cone of croquettes filled with Iberian pork and honey. Everything was fine. They have a variety of tapas that I didn't try, so I can't comment on them. The place is spacious and has a functional, basic style. Service was okay.

We stopped by for breakfast, the coffee is great, and the churros and a ring-shaped pastry were enough for two people. The staff were friendly, and I'll be back next time.

We were just arriving from a trip. We stopped to use the restroom. We had some soft drinks and practically ate our lunch with the tapas they brought us. Although we hadn't planned to eat there, we enjoyed the tapas and the waitress's friendly service so much that we decided to stay for a meal. A great choice! The food was homemade, delicious, and plentiful. The menu was varied and very well chosen. The service was impeccable! In short, an establishment worthy of representing the hospitality industry in Bailén, which can be recommended with complete confidence.

While passing through on my way to visit my family who live in the village, they took me out for tapas (which they weren't serving that day), and we decided to stay anyway, with six of us crammed onto a small table. We ordered four portions of food, sandwiches, two rounds of beer, and a lollipop. The bill came to almost €100 when we split it; we each had to chip in, and since I didn't have any change, I went to the bar where a man and a woman (I think she was South American) were sitting. The woman rudely refused to give me change, even though I insisted so we could sort it out, otherwise it would be impossible to split the bill. Then I asked her to ring us up one by one, but she refused again. She then told me to ask the other man, to which he replied that if it were up to her, she wouldn't give me change. I thought that was disrespectful and a very aggressive way to treat a customer. We started arguing, and she yelled at me in a way that seemed unhinged. There are male witnesses who saw her smiling and being very friendly. Then, without her helping me resolve the issue (something that's never happened to me before), I went to the Chinese shop next door, which was packed with people because of the town's festival, and she gave me change even though I hadn't bought anything. Another thing I found very rude was that when we ordered shots at the bar, she told us there was no tequila without even turning around to look. When we told her we'd seen it, she reluctantly served it to us. I'm very sorry that a moment of joy was ruined by this senseless aggression. I can't tolerate that kind of mistreatment, which is why I'm here venting. I want to emphasize that another very polite and kind lady came to apologize to us, very embarrassed, for her coworker's behavior. We were going to leave a 5 euro tip, but because of her, we decided not to. I would never recommend going to this bar for tapas.

Delicious food and tapas, and friendly service. It has a tapas area and a more formal, air-conditioned dining area.
